What we can print, and how

FDM printing in PLA, PETG, ABS/ASA, TPU and Nylon — chosen for strength, heat and fit, then checked before it ships.

Materials

The right plastic for the job

We print in FDM thermoplastics. Each material trades off strength, temperature resistance, flexibility and cost — here's how we choose.

PLA

Rigid Indoor

Stiff, dimensionally accurate and low-cost. Great for prototypes, shop-org parts and fixtures that stay cool and dry. Softens with heat — not for hot or load-bearing outdoor use.

PETG

Tough Moisture-OK

Our default for functional parts. Stronger and more impact- and moisture-resistant than PLA, with decent heat tolerance. A solid all-rounder for brackets, housings and everyday parts.

ABS / ASA

Heat UV (ASA)

Higher heat resistance and toughness. ASA adds UV stability for outdoor parts. Good for enclosures and components that see warmth, sun or mechanical abuse.

TPU

Flexible Grippy

Rubber-like and abrasion-resistant. For gaskets, bumpers, feet, grips, strain reliefs and anything that needs to flex or absorb shock.

Nylon

Wear Engineering

Tough, low-friction and fatigue-resistant. For gears, bushings, living hinges and hard-working mechanical parts. Available on request for engineering jobs.

How we print

Tolerances & fit

We tune clearances for real assemblies — press-fits, slip-fits and threaded inserts — and check key dimensions before parts ship. Send target fits and we'll dial them in.

Strength you can specify

Wall count, infill and print orientation are chosen for the load path, not a default slicer preset. Parts are built to take the stress in the direction that matters.

Checked, not just printed

Every functional part is inspected for layer adhesion, dimensional accuracy and fit — the same failure-mode discipline used to keep industrial equipment running.

Design guidelines

Print it, buy it, or don't print it

Great for printing

Obsolete or custom-geometry parts, low-volume components, fixtures and jigs, enclosures, and anything you'd otherwise pay a premium or long lead time to source.

Design tips

Keep walls at least ~1.2 mm, avoid unsupported spans, add fillets at stress points, and design fits with a small clearance. Not sure? We'll adjust the model for printability.

Not a fit for FDM

Load-bearing structural members, anything near high voltage or open flame, and food- or skin-contact parts unless specifically material-rated. We'll tell you honestly when plastic isn't the answer.
